At the beginning of the year 2022 a new EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles was adopted. The Strategy aims to create a greener, more competitive sector that is more resistant to global shocks. At the same time it raises challenges for the SMEs, both in EU and in partnering countries. During the conference the Strategy will be presented, a representative of EURATEX will talk about change and challenges in the textile industry in the framework of transition to a circular economy, FINNOVA FOUNDATION representatives will talk about EU and state investments for implementation of innovations in the textile sector, SMEs and BSOs will share their experience and best practices, researchers will present resent researches on circularity in textile sector.
