    Three Seas Initiative: Partners and international cooperation

    • The Three Seas Initiative, established in 2015, brings together 13 countries located along a north-south axis, from Estonia to Greece and Croatia.
    • Key strategic partners of the initiative include the United States, Germany, Japan, and the European Commission as well as associated participating states: Ukraine and Moldova.
    • The initiative focuses on supporting infrastructure projects in the logistics, energy, and digital sectors, aiming to improve connectivity across the region.
    • It also promotes joint development and investment initiatives within the Three Seas region.

     

    History of the Three Seas Business Forum

    • Business Forums have been held annually since 2018, accompanying the Three Seas Summits (previous locations include Bucharest, Ljubljana, Tallinn, Sofia, Riga, and Vilnius).
    • Each year, they attract participants from Three Seas Initiative countries, along with partners and countries like South Korea, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and others.
    • Featuring the participation of leading companies from the initiative’s core sectors.
    • Focused discussions on strategic investments, business collaboration, and public-private partnership projects.
