On July 14, Arūnas Karlonas, the Commercial Attaché of Lithuania in Singapore, visited Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, where discussions focused on the opportunities available to Lithuanian companies in this Southeast Asian country and preparations for the upcoming business mission.
During the meeting, considerable attention was given to exploring the potential of the Singaporean market for Lithuanian businesses. The discussion emphasized the region’s economic potential, openness to innovative solutions, and growing interest in cooperation with European companies. There was also a discussion about business sectors where Lithuanian companies could have a competitive advantage and successfully expand their activities.
A key focus was the planned business mission to Singapore in October 2025, where preliminary program outlines, potential meetings, trade shows, and business event opportunities were reviewed, as well as the involvement of relevant institutions.
Both sides expressed a strong intention to strengthen cooperation in promoting the internationalization of Lithuanian businesses, exchange relevant information, and coordinate efforts to ensure the upcoming mission is as targeted and beneficial as possible for the Lithuanian business community.
