    On March 21st, Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts in collaboration with Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Denmark and Commercial Attaché Audrius Masiulionis, along with Enterprise Europe Network, organized a seminar “Business Opportunities in Denmark”.

    Commercial Attaché Audrius Masiulionis provided an overview of bilateral trade between Lithuania and Denmark, introduced key industrial sectors, market entry procedures and shared valuable insights how to enter and work with the Danish market.

    Inga Lapinskaitė – Mikalauskė, the founder and director of the successful accounting firm “Baltic Business House” in Denmark, presented Danish business culture and consumer behavior, emphasizing the importance of legal regulations and the role of labor unions in the Danish market. Inga Lapinskaitė – Mikalauskė also shared useful advice on what to do and what mistakes to avoid in order to successfully work with Denmark.

    During the seminar, the success story of UAB Bygma, a company specializing in furniture, made from tiles, was also presented. Brigita Latvelytė, a representative of the company, shared her experience of starting to work with a client in Denmark and told a story how they succeeded to get on the cover of a well-known Danish furniture store catalog within their first year of operation in Denmark.

    Vydas Damalakas, Vice President of the Kaunas Chamber, Industry and Crafts, and the moderator of the seminar, thanked speakers for their comprehensive and relevant presentations and the informative discussion. After the event, companies had the opportunity for individual consultations with Commercial Attaché Audrius Masiulionis, and Inga Lapinskaitė – Mikalauskė.
