Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses abroad.

    Main Kaunas CCIC objectives:

    • To promote the programme in Lithuania.
    • To identify and select new entrepreneurs, help them to develop their business plan, match them with the host entrepreneurs abroad.
    • To search for host entrepreneurs in Lithuania.
    Project benefits:

A new entrepreneur benefits from on-the-job training in a small or medium-sized enterprise abroad. This ease the successful start of the business or strengthen new enterprise. A NE can also benefit from access to new markets, international cooperation and potential possibilities for collaboration with business partners abroad.

A host entrepreneur benefits from fresh ideas from a motivated new entrepreneur, NEs specialised skills or knowledge could also complement HEs.

It is a win-win collaboration whereby both NE and HE can also discover new European markets or business partners, different ways of doing business.

During the period (01/02/2015 – 31/01/2019) Kaunas CCIC helped 20 NEs find HEs abroad and have successful exchanges and also found 4 HEs in Lithuania, which hosted NEs from Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Romania.
