General aim of the project

To develop vocational training courses to educate the workforce of chemical industry about the latest improvements and advanced manufacturing and processing techniques/technologies at the workplace using open and  distance learning and training methods, particularly to facilitate the access to continuous vocational training.

Main objectives:

  • To assist to SMEs to increase their workforce capacity by enhancing the skills of new and existing  workers
  • To increase the supply of labour and skills in chemical sector
  • To provide learning and training opportunities in the labour market, particularly youth and older, low - skilled
  • To support chemical industry in developing a sustainable and environmentally responsible economic growth like the use of raw materials in an efficient way, reduce processing waste etc. 
  • To develop a full e-learning platform adapted to the profiles of learners and integrating the training content
  • To test, optimize and validate the learning solution and introduce it to learners through a pilot training per country of at least 20 participants each

Reason and Impact Envisaged

Chemical Movetech will contribute defining standards of technical skills development in the selected subject of chemical industry. The project results will be integrated into training systems and practices, encouraging SMEs associations, entrepreneurial associations to use the material in their training activities.

The project will provide an innovative modular tool to educational institutions which facilitates learning for small enterprise staff, moreover product will be usable fo self - learning as well.
